Financial Accountant / Certified Accountant (gn)

Your future area of responsibility:

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Preparation of VAT advance returns as well as other statistical reports and various analyses
• Support in the preparation of forecasts, liquidity planning, and cash flow reporting
• Professional contact person for external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and the Italian parent company
• Ensuring proper bookkeeping, reconciliation/clarification of general ledger accounts, as well as monitoring and calculation of provisions
• Monitoring budgets, maintenance and investment costs, and initiating appropriate measures
• Managing payment transactions and supporting day-to-day operational business
• Participation in special projects such as digitalization initiatives or ERP implementation

Why you’re a good fit for us:

• Completed commercial vocational training plus further qualification as a Certified Accountant (IHK) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial and general ledger accounting, ideally in SMEs and in project business/manufacturing environments
• Sound knowledge of accounting regulations and preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
