Your Future Responsibilities:

• Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Prepare advance VAT returns, as well as other statistical reports and various analyses
• Serve as the technical point of contact for external stakeholders
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping, reconcile general ledger accounts, and monitor and determine provisions
• Manage payment transactions and provide support in day-to-day operations
• Participation in special projects such as digitalization or ERP implementation
• Technical leadership of the team

You are a good fit if you have:

• Completed commercial training and further education leading to certification as a Certified Accountant (IHK) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial and general accounting, ideally in medium-sized companies and in the project business/manufacturing sector
• In-depth knowledge of accounting regulations and the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
