“The Maritime Battle – Drivers for Research, Armament and Use”.

Events 17 September 2025

Focused on maritime research, naval armament and use, the workshop is traditionally aimed at the classical triangle of navy, public transport and industry, which are jointly required to ensure the navy’s material military capability in the best possible way realize – quickly, effectively and aligned with the specific operational scenario.

The maritime battle must be the starting point for all considerations and maxims for all actions!

This is direct and open dialogue between BMVg, navy, ÖAG, research and industry is more important than ever.

The best possible provision of material armament and use require mutual understanding of what is technically possible and what is operationally necessary.
Supply equipment, or at best keep it available on the market, if it can anticipate what skills will be needed.

Research can only focus on the Navy if it understands what the Navy is focusing on will and must.

This may sound trivial, but it is in light of the complexity of the maritime battle, the individual systems and, last but not least, the processes and procedures do not.

This is where the 27th Marine Workshop comes in: information and appeal in the context of keynote and plenary lectures, targeted
Impulses and discussions on the 30 posters in two sessions (which we promote with this ‚Call for Papers‘) and the open dialogue at the exhibition stands during the program-free times allocated for this purpose.
